Editors Note - December 2020

It would be fair to say that this has been one of the strangest and in many ways hardest years any of us can remember. As I write we are back in lockdown number 2, albeit with schools remaining open. Obviously many of us are worrying about the festive period—how can we prepare for it, will we be able to see loved ones, how to make it special for children who have already missed out on a lot this year? However, for others the problems are even more serious—health concerns (perhaps even COVID itself), money struggles, job problems or mental health issues.

This time of year can be tough at the best of times. 2020 has tested everyone, but as a community we will get through it and perhaps even emerge stronger. So here is hoping that you can find some joy and relaxation during the holidays, and if this year has been hard for you and your family, all the very best for next year to be amazing. From all of us at the Chat, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
