Basingstoke Voluntary Action Update

Celebration of Volunteering Appreciating All Volunteers... Volunteers Week was all about celebrating the fantastic work put in by all the wonderful volunteers and I'm sure that you will join us in recognising how amazing they are. Although this Volunteers Week was slightly different to the normal afternoon tea, over 90 people were still nominated from a wide variety of good causes. It would be good to see how you got involved throughout Volunteers Week, so please feel free to send us any photos or good news stories that you have by emailing contact@bvaction.org.uk. We love having a chat with our members wherever we get the chance, so please get in touch. It has also been fantastic to read what groups have said about their nominees. To see this amazing feedback, please CLICK HERE Take Part in Our Next Forum Don't Miss Out... We will be running your next Voluntary Sector Forum on 14th July 2021. Our guest speaker this time around will be Sam Taylor, Climate Emergency Manager at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, who will be giving a presentation on how climate change will affect your charity or community group. We want you to be as prepared as possible, so don't miss it!
