National Garden Scheme - Hampshire


As we slowly come out of lockdown it certainly feels good. Visitor numbers to our gardens, which have already been open for 2021, are certainly showing this. From now until 16th May visitors must pre-book their tickets. From 17th May pre-booked tickets are not essential, but generally available. New since last month: We now have the Hampshire 2021 Yellow Booklet as an e-book. Simply enter the following in your search box: https://issuu.com/levelcreative/docs/hamps_2021 Here are some gardens open within 15 miles of Chineham:- Beechewood Farm, Hillside, Odiham, Hook, RG29 1JA Open Every Wednesday up to 9th June, 2pm to 5pm each day. Refreshments: home-made teas available (subject to guidelines). Admission: £4.00, children free. Open by arrangement from March to June for groups of visitors Exciting new gardens for 2021: Searles Lane Gardens, Hook, RG27 9EQ (Parking & access via Papermill Ave, RG27 9QU.) Three very different gardens. The contemporary garden Cherry Tree Barn, with its interesting Japanese influence. Maple Cottage, cottage style garden opening again after a 2 year absence. Cherry Tree Cottage with an array of lovingly attended pots and interesting features on top of the thatched roof. The gardens border Whitewater Meadow, with walks across the field to the river. Opening: 27th to 30th May inclusive (Thursday to Sunday), 2pm to 5pm. Admission: £6.50, children free.
