Tune in to your local Community Radio Station, HHCR!
Spring is in the air, summer around the corner, HHCR is your local community radio station playing a whole range of shows and entertainment, something for everyone. HHCR broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from its studio in the heart of Basingstoke. Since 2019 HHCR has been building a station to keep you company, boost local community pride, share local events, help Basingstoke’s charities, amplify local artists, celebrate the diverse communities of Basingstoke on-air & help volunteers find their voice through the power of community radio!
2021 has already been a really busy year for the Radio Station seeing HHCR hosting a dedicated programme for the BDDF Disability Awareness Day, sponsoring the Arts & Entertainment category for Destination Basingstoke’s A Place to Be Proud of Awards and their studio has also benefited from a redesign!
“I am so proud of our amazing station. The schedule of shows is growing all the time, new features, new presenters, new focus therefore the studio refurbishment will enable us to grow and delight our audiences for many years to come.” David Chatten-Smith - Programme Manager, presenter of the Monday Afternoon Show from 2pm.
