Update from Chineham Library
We were delighted to welcome customers back into the library on 12 April, but a reminder that we will be temporarily closed for browsing from Monday 26 April to allow for some building works to take place within the library. Whilst we are closed you can still come to the library to collect Ready Reads selections. We expect to re-open on Saturday 15 May, but please check our website for updates before you visit.
Whilst we are closed the closest bookable public computers and study spaces are at Basingstoke Discovery Centre. To book a computer or a study space please call 0370 779 6100
If you want to learn something new over the next few weeks there are a number of courses available online as part of the ‘Learning in Libraries’ scheme. To find out more and to book a course visit the Hantsweb shop online on https://www.hants.gov.uk/shop/home.php?cat=369 and click on ‘Online learning’ or ‘Online events’.
If you want a specific book, then you can choose those by reserving them. Did you know that we have an app, which can be downloaded for free and used to search our catalogue and reserve a book from the comfort of your own home? For more information on the app please visit our website Library self-service app | Hampshire County Council (hants.gov.uk)
Hampshire Library also offers a Home Library Service to support those who cannot visit a library due to ill-health, disability, or caring duties. Go to https://www.hants.gov.uk/librariesandarchives/library/services/access-for-all/homelibraryservice to find out more, or call 01962 454747.
